Why are there large condoms available in stores, but no smaller ones?

Statistically, there are just as many guys with small penises as there are with large ones. So, why do stores never sell small condoms? They have like 5 different kinds of large and extra large condoms, but ZERO ones for the smaller guys. Add in a latex sensitivity, and a guy like me is fucked (and not in a good way). Should I only have sex if my girlfriend is on the pill? Don't even get me started on the FDA regulations that limit condom sizes in the USA, screwing men who are both above and below that range.

  • Statistically, they're probably targetting the mean market demographic, not the median. In that case it very well could be that there are more men with larger than average penises than with smaller ones. The mean can be brought down by statistical anomalies such as dudes with micropenises.

  • One (the brand) is making theyFit for the North American market. Expect them soon.

    • I can't confirm that they are making non-latex condoms, though.

    • They are also selling almost half of the range of theyFit's size line.

    • "They are also selling almost half of the range of theyFit's size line. " -Not even close to half... Just 10 sizes less than the European theyFit. (myOne - 56 vs theyFit - 66) The other sizes are still within the process of being approved by FDA. "I can't confirm that they are making non-latex condoms, though. " -Does theyFit make latex-free condoms? No... Did One take ownership of theyFit, yes... What makes you think they'd be latex-free.

  • really? :o wow never knew that.. fucked up!
    Go on strike!

    • You can order them on the internet, but even then you have to deal with the FDA restrictions on sizes. A guy my size can't safely use a 49mm condom (the smallest "snug" fitting one available in the USA) without a risk of it slipping off. It's just not tight enough...

    • pff fuck FDA what kind of nonsense is that? -_- how are people then supposed to have safe sex? Can't you talk to your doctor? and ask... maybe they can help. Especially if many men make the same claim..

    • There are companies outside the USA who make custom fit condoms, but you can't "legally" ship them to the USA, because of the regulations.

  • Maybe they assume guys with below average penises are less likely to be having sex so there's not as much incentive to sell the smaller sizes.

    • So what should we do, kill ourselves?

  • probably because most guys don't want to admit they need a smaller condom... no demand, no profit.

    • So what should we do, kill ourselves? I love how women think your comment is funny.

    • I'm not attacking you, relax. I agree that there should be more condoms available for the guys that are honest about what size they need. The problem (if I am correct) is big business responding to supply and demand.

    • p. s. you can probably order what size you need online.

  • Who the fuck would be able to bring himself to take the petite condoms to the register and look the register girl in the eye as she rang it up?

Maybe you can find your condoms online?

    • I would give her a serial killer death-stare if she so much as thought about snickering.

    • I already addressed that. They don't sell condoms that fit even online in the USA because of FDA bullshit (it hurts guys who are really big, too).

    • Maybe somebody running the FFDA has tiny penis, and is way overcompensating?
