Please explain boners, as a girl, I have such a hard time understanding the anatomy?

So, I was watching a movie last night with my husband and some cousins... The movie had very promiscuous scenes with the camera zooming in on the girls asses and it had scenes of like half boobs, etc.. you get the point so I noticed some of my cousins sitting with their legs pressed together and then like a bulge, not necessarily a boner, but how do guys hide boners? What gives you boners? Does movies with promiscuous scenes with like girls wearing revealing clothes give you boners? Or sex scenes? Lol please explain... Does looking at a girl give you a boner? I hate watching movies with my SO that have hot girls in it

  • As far as what triggers a boner, it depends. When a guy is young, inexperienced, and hormones are going wild, the wind could blow the right way and cause an erection. Forget about softcore porn, suggestive poses, or just an attractive girl sitting on the other side of the classroom! Sometimes they happen for no apparent reason at all!

    As he gets older and has more experience and exposure to arousing triggers, it starts to take more to get an erection going. After some sexual experiences, seeing lots of women naked (in person and in porno), and hormones settling down, it might take more to get a guy hard.

    Also, how long has it been since sexual tension has been released? A guy who hasn't had sex or masturbated in a few days will probably pop a boner much quicker than one who had sex last night and beat off in the morning.

    As for me personally, just seeing a hot girl (in person or in a movie) doesn't get me erect (most of the time, can't say 'never'), and even seeing porn or nudity doesn't immediately trigger an erection. It takes a little more mental stimulation to get things going now, there need to be some feelings and/or thoughts involved to trigger one.

    As far as hiding a boner, it depends... Sitting still, it just depends how it's positioned. For me, the easiest way to hide a boner is to tuck it upwards under the waistline of my underwear/pants/belt. That's how I dealt with it when I was younger and in school (when it could happen in the middle of history class when the hot girl two seats up and to the right leaned forward to pick up a pencil from the floor, revealing the lower portion of her back and the top of her underwear)

    Don't feel jealous or upset if your SO gets excited during a movie... Take full advantage of it, he's wound up and ready to go... tease him a little, or just take care of it for him, you can always go back and watch the second half of the movie later :-)

    Why do you hate watching movies with your husband that get him hard, knowing that he will want to love you, later? Is it jealousy, for the girls in the movie that get him aroused?
    guys aren't like women, and we are more visual. We can see a cute girl, and have no interest in her, sexually, but get aroused by what she is wearing, often imagining you, wearing that!!! We want to love you, and it's one of those things like 'Who cares how you started the grill, we're having steaks for dinner! kind of thing. Understand?
    As far as erections, that's a series of books, at least!! Guys are visual, and we like looking at attractive women, especially in REALLY tight Yoga pants, or showing curves, or bending over, or doing all the stuff women do, when they don't know how sexy they look!!!
    It isn't about them, and he isn't wanting to cheat!! He's just being a guy, like nature intended, wanting her, maybe, but wanting you more, and liking how she excites him, but coming home, to you, and loving you!!
    Don't be jealous, or concerned what gives him the boner, just love how he loves you, with it!!
    by the way, it's OK to relax a little, and not judge those girls so harshly! Maybe one is wearing something he likes, and you could get something like it, and excite him, without the video!!
    It's not wrong to LOVE sex with your partner, but it is wrong to just complain that it isn't what you thought!! MAKE your own fun!! Find out what he likes, and google couple's play!!

    • I DO understand your point, and I don't go out, and go to strip clubs, or whatever, get horny then come back to her. Guys separate 'sex' and 'love' and that isn't in anyway something that means we don't love you, adore you, and want you, exclusively!! We are 'programmed' with this 'lower, survivalist' brain, and the urge is to reproduce, and thus, there is a subconscious drive, to be aroused by other women!! It DOESN'T MEAN THAT WE WOULD EVER, but they do arouse that part of us, that Nature intended. Most guys can control it with their 'Higher Brain' functions! Don't think too much about it!! It isn't something that we can always control! That's something you ladies can't understand!!
