If they were identical, all men would have a clitoris and that would be like, ARGH, like having breasts lol. Disgusting. It works for women too, they'd have p... Would that not be gross? If you're talking about stimulation nerves then not the whole p... is sensitive, so once again no. But you could say it has a part of it that is like the clitoris. A part that is sensitive to sexual stimulation, and that part is the top part; about 1cm more from the top it's like the rest of the body. But the clitoris is exclusively sexual stimulation-based while the top of the p... has more uses. You know which ones.

No. They occur in the same place, but they are essentially different. The only similarity is the erection. Penis has 4000 of nerve endings, the clitoris has 8,000 nerve endings on a much smaller space.

No, they aren't. Our clits has millions of more nerves than a penis head. And i mean they look nothing alike even a big clit doesn't look like a penis.

They are not the same thing however they are "made" from the same original organ if you like. But again I have to stress this that just because they are made from the same organ does not mean they share a lot of similarities.

they both develop from the same thing called a glans from the fetal genital tubercle , but in a girl the nerves are closer together and have a higher nerve count than in a guys penis glans aka head of the penis

It's essentially the same thing because they're both filled with nerve endings and can have sexual excitement and orgasm but the only difference is the penis can ejaculate and produce sperm
