  • There are smooth muscle fibers in the skin of the scrotum that contract or relax in response to the ambient temperature. And in addition to that type of muscle, there are also muscles that raise and lower each testicle. That happens also in response to temperature. When it's cold they will hug up tighter to the body, and when it's hot they hang down lower. The testicles are outside the body in the scrotum because the internal body temperature is too high for sperm production. And then, when a guy is really aroused sexually and just about to orgasm, the balls draw up tight against the body. (Which is one way a girl can tell if a guy is about to cum.)

  • When it is cold out, the scrotum tightens and gets as close to the body as it can for warmth. The opposite happens when it is hot. But if the wrinkles are bothering you, you should make your boyfriend use one of those penis health cremes that are on the market nowadays. They are made to smooth out and clean the penis skin. I use one and my girlfriend really appreciates it. Hope this info helps.

  • Cuz it's like, to make sperm and testosterone and stuff, the testicles have to be a certain temperature. So like, they get tight and pulled to the body so it can stay warm, and loose and jangly like when it needs to cool.

    • Which do you prefer? Tight or in your words "jangly"? haha

  • Lololol I love how you make it sound like a bouncy ball that deflates hahahha

  • Cuz they shrink when it gets cold and expand when it gets hot

  • Two words: temperature regulation.

  • Next to the temperature regulation mentioned by the other's, they also tighten up shortly before coming independent of temperature. Seems to be to pull them out of the way during sex to avoid the bouncing around.

  • It's all Temperature, balls need to stay at body temperature. so when it gets cold, they retract a bit into the body and go "tighter" to try and retain the bodies core temperature, and when it gets hot they go "looser" to hang a bit lower to get a bit more ventilation and stop absorbing body heat.

Basically, the entire system is just balls putting themselves in a position that's going to stop sperm from either freezing or overheating, both of which kill sperm.

  • Internal temperature regulation. Sperm cells are sensitive to temperature changes, so the skin draws the testicles closer for warmth or drops them further away to cool down. This can make sitting down a more delicate process in extreme heat.

  • There is this website called google...
But anyway it's due to temperature. Semen requires a constant body temperature and are sensitive to heat thus if it gets too hot, they get looser (thus more wrinkly) and hang more freely. If it gets too cold, the contract and get tighter to retain more body heat.

  • Temperature, the ball sack regulates it's own temperature it's core temperature has to stay at a certain degree's.

If it's to cold the sack retracts up into the body to keep warm.

If it's to hot the sack detracts away from the body so keep cool.

It's kind of like a self regulating oven.

  • Depends if the balls are in a good mood or a bad mood

  • It happens because of the temperature changes lol 😂

  • haha this is an awesome question I have wondered this myself. spill it guys

  • Those are some ballsy question.

  • The equipment manager stuffed them too full.

  • I think it has to do with temperature.

  • When it's cold it gets all tight and wrinkly so it doesn't lose too much heat.

  • Natural climate control to keep the little swimmers swimming

  • they react to emotion and temperature and physical activity. there is no bone or muscle obstructing the testicles, only a thin layer of skin and in there is embedded a thin muscle tissue to protect the testicles and keep them on temperature.

  • because it contracts and relaxes based on the temp. always trying to keep it at optimal sperm producing temp

  • Because it's not too long after that

  • Why do vaginas have too many lips around them?

    • Or too many flaps I should say...

    • To help keep out bacteria and foreign objects. Protection mostly.

  • Balls need cold temperature so when temp is high they become loose and saggy when cold it becomes tight!
