HIV possible through rubbing?

Is it likely to transmit HIV when the woman has underwear on and the man rubs his bare penis against her vagina? (She has underwear on the whole time) and what about if she gives him a handjob and he has precum? she wipes her hands and doesn't touch her mouth or vagina after handjob. And then she gets on top of him and he rubs against her but there is no intercourse (none at all only rubbing) and neither of them orgasm. All the rubbing lasts a short period of time.

I think i need to make it clear he never put his penis inside me. My vagina was covered by my underwear and he rubbed against me for a minute or so. Some of these answers make it seem like no one read the question fully

  • HIV is not the most easily transmitted STD (some others are more easily transferred).

It is not transferred via skin to skin contact.

Basically, either his semen or blood needs to get into your bloodstream. During intercourse, and especially anal intercourse, very tiny microtears tend to happen in the vagina or anus, and then the semen comes into contact with them.

For a handjob, you'd need to have like... cracks through your skin or cuts or something (and have them in contact with semen).

And rubbing through clothing with no orgasm? Yeah, it's not happening that way.

    • Yeah we never had sex. He never put his penis in me. No oral sex occured either. I never had cuts on my hands. I always use condoms when i have sex but i was worried wjrh that guy because i didn't know him well. I chose not to sleep with him because of that.

    • If your hands don't have cuts, you could give him a hj to completion and he could finger you, no risk of HIV transmission, if you're in that scenario again. Oral is 'lower' risk because you need some sort of cut in your mouth, but that does happen a little more often.

    • He did finger me but i didn't think that was a way to spread anything

  • The HIV virus gets into the body from the seman into the areas that have close blood flow, like the vagina or rectum. Saliva kills the virus, as does oxygen.
His pre-cum might have some virus in it, but most likely nothing happened.
However, there is always that miniscule little chance that a virus dude might find it's way through the pantie and stay in liquids and finally find a place to get into your body. Just be careful.

  • Very unlikely but it's always better to be safe with things like this. Wrap it up!! Condoms are the safest thing to use.

  • Well was she really wet, because that could have soaked through her panties

  • I doubt it, but I don't take chances when it comes to hiv

  • where's the fun in all that anyways!!

  • Are you kidding? But do you not know whether he has something

  • mixing body fluid can transmit viruses easily. so yes, its possible.

  • No, unlikely

  • of his blood didn´t get in contact with your blood, you´re good.

  • It's definitely possible.

    • How so? No blood or sex occured. Only pre cum on my hand and him rubbing on me while i had a barrier on my vagina

  • STD's happen through the exchange of bodily fluids so based on how you've described it that's not happened here (his precum isn't mixing with any of your fluids). Sperm dies very quickly outside the human body also. Based on what you've said (if I understand it correctly) I don't think you have to worry. But to be safe, why don't you both get tested? If you're both clean, then you have nothing at all to worry about :)
