Depends on if I were attracted to her and how heavy she was, if she's breaking my leg with chunkiness I think I might be in too much pain and discomfort to enjoy it even if I were to really like her...
If I'm attracted to her and she's not harmful to my lap, or sitting awkwardly causing pain to my nethers, then yea, it's sexy and intimate. As for why, it just kind of falls into that "men doing manly things makes us feel good" much like "women do feminine things to feel womanly" some things just fit into gender psychology, also the closeness could be nice (if wanted).
