Do girls think that uncircumcised guys are gross? if so why?

I am an uncircumcised guy who when I was young I thought I was different than every other guy. then I found out I wasn't alone. in fact about 80% of all men on earth are uncut. I have read where some girls, especially the shallow, superficial,naive girls think that its gross. I guess since there is a lot of chicks out there like that, it made me self conscious. I have read where some girls who never had uncircumcised loved it in comparison. better sex. what do girls think about this.

  • uncut is gross, it's okay to most people in western europe and modern america only because it's the norm, they don't see that much of cut penises in their lives and most likely they don't even know how one looks like! add to that the religion fanaticism, catholic girls would say and do anything to promote their religion's practices (which is NOT cutting) even if they called themselves "atheists"!

    Answering your question, the hate is towards cut and not the uncut, because people who do it are jewish and muslims, once people in the states knew the act was associated with muslims too they initially dropped it and lousy researches about how "unnecessary" and "humiliating" it was have arose on the surface... call it grudge? hatred? braidwashing? I don't know but it's sad. Dude I respect you and I'm sure nobody would judge you for what you are, and therefore don't you judge girls for their preferences because this matter in particular is something they grew up with. It's like if you as a boy had to grow up around women with vaginas so different looking from some girl you've just met, I'm sure you'd find a hardship dealing with that.

How is it that it's always cut men that know so much about the genital hygiene of whole penises anyway...? Also, calling atheists catholics, lol, idiot.     • You, ma'am, is the only "humiliating" thing here lol I meant to say that girls are born catholic, then most of them in the UK these days think they're too smart to hold on to the religion so they start making fun of it to sound cool and slutty. For the speaking with "sad cut men" I'd say really, really girl, try to meet people more. I'm a cut guy and I'd have been sad if my parents didn't do that for me when I was younger. Facts are, cut is safer, lasts longer, cleaner, and best of all prettier.

    • For your comment on the last answer that you wouldn't sleep with a cut guy by choice, I'm so sure a cut guy won't want to have sex with a girl that has only been with uncut penises and who knows how many were they. We're extremely worried when it comes to our health, so no need for you to worry, you won't ever have to bother with a cut penis :)

  • Those girls have just been sold a lie. As a victim of male genital mutilation I can say you are very lucky to not have had part of your body cut off. I am missing a part of me that I have no idea what it even looks like and I can never get back.

    The procedure is quite gruesome, at birth and into childhood the foreskin is actually stuck to the head of the penis, for a doctor to cut it off they must first rip the skin loose from the head of the penis than cut it . Fortunately for me I don't remember what was done to me but I can imagine what it must have felt like.

    • Gotta agree with you on this one. It's really kind of a barbaric thing to do, especially to a newborn. I mean it was born from a culture of nomads that were apparently incapable of washing themselves properly, so they had to remove part of their anatomy.

  • It really doesn't matter to me much either way. I am American and a Christian (two things which are obviously strongly associated with circumcision) However it doesn't matter...it's not unchristian to be uncut. I have never had sex with an uncut guy, and I'll admit I'd be a bit weird/shy about it, but I still would have nothing against trying it. In fact I'm sure it's great! Don't worry about the girls who judge you by your penis! Big or not-so-big, cut or uncut you're worthy of a wonderful girl to have fun with! Hope this reassures you!

    • Christianity isn't associated with circumcision. The New Testament actively discourages it, saying Christ will be of no advantage to circumcised men. So really it's more Christian to NOT be circumcised than it is to be. You need to read your bible more, Christian.

  • Yup the girl is right. I'm from Europe too and almost no one here is cut. I've never seen a cut penis in my life (porn doesn't count). I don't understand why someone would find it a bother. I've heard some people say its unhygienic. That's a lie. If you shower once a day you'll be fine. I would probably be confused if I got a circumcised guy. I think you have nothing to worry about. And if you do come across a girl that's gonna yell "gross!" she's probably one of those shallow b**** and not worth your time.

  • I am taking it you're American? I am from England, and my mum had an American friend who told me all American guys get circumcised as it's culture. I had never heard of such a thing! In England, you don't do it unless you're Jewish, as far as I am aware. I came across one circumcised guy, and I thought it looked odd, probably cos I had never see it like that. In my experience, it feels really good uncircumcised. don't see the issue. As long as a guy washes it in the shower, then what is the issue?!

  • I agree that sex is a lot better with a natural (not circumcised) man.

    The penis and vagina evolved alongside each other for millions of years. They are evolved for pleasure, and have the exact form that is best for delivering pleasure. Altering that form will frequently alter function, making sex less pleasurable.

    This has been borne out in large scale investigations, where women who have tried both overwhelmingly prefer intact guys (like you).

    As a side-note, I'd avoid the word "uncircumcised". You're no more "uncircumcised" than you are "unlobotomised" or "unvastectomised". You're just normal, or whole if you prefer.

    Not all women are shallow or superficial. Some are, but you can often encourage them to be more open-minded (though usually not by pointing out how shallow they are..!)

  • Cut is a lot more pleasant to go down on. And preventing STDs is good too. That said, if I was really into a guy and he was uncircumcised I think I'd probably get over my preference.

    • Having less penis means you will have less of a chance of getting an STI, it isn't going to prevent STIs, only lower the chances very so slightly.

    • Unless you think preventing means eliminating, lowering the chances is the exact same thing.

    • Bad news: clipped and unclipped guys are nearly equally at risk: the difference is a only few% . There is a difference in HPV prevalence among UNwashing unclipped guys (the virus loves the smegma under the foreskin) and HPV can cause cervical and penis cancer. That's why cervical cancer is very rare in Israel and among nuns. FOR ALL OTHER STI's it' only a few % difference. A few % will have an impact on a nations' health budget but individually it's negligible.

I'm circumcised and things may be easy in the USA, but I've traveled abroad. In foreign countries women tend to discriminate against circumcised ones. So does that make them shallow bitches?     • I wouldn't sleep with a circumcised guy by choice - I don't regard that as shallow, because I fail to see what's shallow about not enjoying having a dry, calloused penis scrape all the lubricant out of the vagina, causing chafing and discomfort, sometimes even tearing. It has been documented in large scale studies that women are more likely to enjoy sex with natural, that means not circumcised, men. Asking a man to have part of his penis amputated for your preference should not be acceptable.

  • Uncircumcised means more maintenance. If you take care of your self, than it don't make a difference. Uncircumcised d***s just have a bad rep because it can be gross- if you don't take care of it. It can stink, carry more disease ect. ect.

    Most women are just intimidated by it because it because even though eighty percent of men arn't circumcised- the majority are in the US. Which means that it is intimidating because there are more ways to pleasure a man when it isn't cut.

    Anyone who calls it gross is naive because they are not confident in how they perform with it.

  • I've been with several guys that were uncircumcised and didn't find any difference in the feeling or performance when their penis was in my vagina. What I do know is that you guys have a tiny bit more maintenance in keeping the head and foreskin clean which most do.

  • I could literally yellow at women who think a circumcised penis is better because it's friggin GENITAL MUTILATION there's nothing good about it, it takes away 90% of a mans sensitivity and for people who say oh I was circumcised in my 20ties blah blah and it feels better now, that's because it takes time (8 years or more) to desensitize all that rubbing against clothing makes the glands on the skin harden and they lose their sensitivity, (im circumcised and trying to manually restore)

I hope more and more men have the courage you do to take a stand against child circumcision - the owner of the penis is the only person with the right to decide if it should have cosmetic surgery performed!

  • I read that in the US, as circumcision is done at birth there, it's promoted heavily by maternity clinics to augment their revenues.

    Thus during a certain time the only uncut guys were either poor (their mom had given birth at home) or immigrants. This made circumcision a kind of status symbol or certificate the guy had "good" (American middle class or rich ) parents. BS of course, but if enough people believe BS the BS gets some influence.

    • Spot on - circumcision is big money in the US - not just the fee to the doctor for performing the surgery, but also the profit from selling the foreskin to the biomedical industry. Now there's also the problem of normative abuse - circumcised men often want to feel "normal" and rather than confront the emotional difficulty of recognising that they were harmed, they instead seek to have others (including their own sons) made to be the same as them.

    I'm French Canadian so I'm like the only guy that is cut, but not raised jewish or muslim. Chicks don't seem to mind, some dig it some are confused at the lack of foreskin but from my experience, it doesn't matter one iota mate.

    • It's around 80% of the world that is natural. Would you say female circumcision was all about personal preference? The only preference that matters is that of the penis's owner, which is why circumcising children is unethical. Bear in mind also that women aren't likely to give you their personal opinion on your penis if it's unfavourable, because they know how sensitive guys are about that.

  • Uncircumcised males aren't really my cup of tea. No, that doesn't make me naive, shallow or a bitch, I take offense to that. If not properly cared for it can smell, cause hygiene problems, not to mention what it can do to the partner. I'm sure guys have things about women that they don't like, but I suppose that would make them shallow, naive and assholes, too, huh? We all have things we do or do not like about the opposite sex. It's to be human. But I'm currently with an uncircumcised male so I've yet to try it out. We'll see if sex is better un snipped.

  • Okay so I'm going to bud in here and say uncircumcised men feel better! A lot better. The movement of their foreskin while inside the vagina provides the pleasure. And you have nothing to be insecure about. Be proud that you have your foreskin that also provides YOU more pleasure! And I'm going to have to agree with everyone on the maintenance thing. Make sure you clean it well! Wash it after sex. Semen and vaginal fluid will get under the foreskin and cause it to smell. This includes masturbating!
