How do you feel about hickeys?

Do guys like getting them? How do you go about giving one? How long should it take? thanks everyone

Personally I hate getting them. I have gotten and given a few, but not in the last 10 or 15 years. The few that I gave were in places that no one could see. If they did happen to see one that I had given I knew that their eyes (and possibly other things) had been somewhere they shouldn't have been.

The reason I stopped giving them and why I hate getting them is one in the same, intentional hickeys are nothing more than a way to mark your territory. Its basically a way to say "he/she is mine so back off!" In other words I am completely insecure in my relationship to the point of having to visually mark my partner, so making a move on him/her would be pretty easy or if you wait a short time they will probably be single anyway and you can make your move then.

Oh and as for how you give/get one, more sucking not so much biting. I remember this kid from junior high who after seeing a couple of people with hickeys went home and held a vacuum to his neck in order to give himself a hickey. Unfortunately for him he had an older brother who walked in on him and the vacuum which he of course let everyone at school know the next day. Lets just say the story didn't go away, following him to high school and years later at our 10 year high school reunion.

Hickeys I think are one of those secret pleasures everyone has. You don't really want everyone to see them, but you love the thought of getting one, but you really love the idea of giving one even more. All you have to do to give one is suck on any one part of a body for a long enough period of time, hard enough. I'm not talking a light sucking.I'm talking sucking. But be warned, a hickey is a bruise. It will be there for a few days. So if you let a guy or girl leave a hickey on your neck, that baby will be seen by all for a few days.and friends are going to tease you about it.

Basically you just nibble and suck on a bit of skin, usually around the neck. But be sure to go easy! You don't have to necessarily bite down hard to give a hickey. As for how long it takes, that varies, depending on how hard you suck/bite. But it shouldn't take too long.

I gave my boyfriend a hickey, but he didn't seem to happy about it because it was too high up on his neck, haha. You're best off asking if the guy likes getting them, honestly.

When I was in high school my boyfriend used to give them to me all the time but always in hidden places. But I hate them anywhere now. They are just not attractive. And sometimes they hurt. Which biting and stuff can be good while in the heat of the moment but when your done and still have a painful bruise almost a week later, that sucks.
