There are a lot of ways to keep it fresh like inmimate gels or wet wipes. But anyways I always get a shower before having sex. Also sleeping without underwear helps it "breathe" so it's also a good advice. As for the taste it depends on a lot of things besides regular shower, like food, hormones etc. I've noticed that sometimes it's sweeter sometimes more like sour ( my guy sometimes sticks his fingers in my mouth after fingering and I find it super hot), but you are a woman and you should know your body, there's nothing strange in that. I've watched a video on youtube once and the woman there said that every woman should know how her vagina tastes like.

Some people don't like going down there. Again it's preference. I don't mind going down as long as that person showered or else it smells like poop. Just clean unless people are really briny or that they don't care

well when it smells its not good. srsly should clean it often. I used to have a girlfriend who wasn't great with her hygiene and it a massive turn off
But I wonder as a woman would you smell it? Some people don't notice their body odor. Do you only go down on a girl if she showered?
you dont have to shower but a quick wipe down never hurt anyone further more everytime you shower you need to clean it. and yes you can smell bad vagine odor yourself as its different from your body odor. I can smell my own dick when its giving off unpleasent smells.
