Has anyone made a baby while on birth control or using condoms?

Question

A friend of mine has been sexually active for about 4 years now while using only condoms and has never had a pregnancy scare. He told me that people who get pregnant on condoms or birth control are stupid and obviously did something wrong to mess it up. Do you agree? Or do you think pregnancy is possible even if the condom/birth control was used exactly as directed?

I think a lot of times it is user error but even when used correctly no birth control is 100%. Just because he's lucky enough (or rather not statically outside of normal) to not have anything happen, doesn't mean it isn't actually possible. I mean you can get pregnant with a damn IUD and there's no way for there to be user error there at all.

If you use them as directed, you're fine.

So many people havw told me that just using the pill isn't enough because "so and so got pregnant on it".

Yeah, probably because they were bad at taking it.

3 years, never missed a pill, 0 scares.
They work if you can remember them.

It's possible to get pregnant while on birth control or using condoms. I've never met anyone whose gotten pregnant while on birth control. I was on birth control for 5 years and never got pregnant

Well even if all precautions raken.. there is a slight chance.. may b 1 percent.. that still a girl may become pregnant..

I don't agree. I know people who were using both the pill and condoms and it still happened. They don't work 100%, if you don't want to get pregnant then it's best to just not have sex.

My sister got pregnant on birth control. I don't know that I know of anyone who got pregnant using a condom, unless the condom broke.

I was conceived while my mom was on the pill and my sister was conceived after my mom had her tubes tied.

with the birth control pills there is a chance of pregnancy but with condom there is no chance of it until and unless condom breaks in the vegina

I think 90% of the time when someone gets pregnant while using b. c. it's because they didn't use it correctly or the woman secretly stopped using it. So yes I agree with him.
