1. No it's not important to break it.
2. You can't see it, as everybody said: it's thin and it's (deep) inside you.
3. If it's still there, you are technically a virgin.
4. Don't worry about it. If you use tampons you might rip it and even if you do it doesn't matter.
Don't be afraid to lose it or to still having it.
You can still be a virgin and not have one though it can be broken in lots of ways tampons, heavy exercise (such as dance gymnastics and horse riding) and sometimes fingering it's not crucial you do and it doesn't necessarily mean sex will be more painful you don't need it and you don't need to get rid of it :) x

1) Your hymen doesn't disappear, it just rips, or breaks after you have been penetrated by SOMETHING...be it a penis, a dildo, a vibrator, whatever

Some times on some girls you can see it but it's very rare no you do not need to break it and if a guys asks you to he's being an ass. You can break it easily and never know it like by riding a horse but that doesn't mean sex the first time won't still hurt
You having a period is normal. Every girl gets one. It's a sign of ovulation happening, not your hymen breaking. Unless, you've had intercourse, which you clearly stated you were a virgin, your hymen cannot, in no way, be broken. It's still there.

Your hymen is located an inch and a half inside your vagina. If you havn't put anything inside of yourself, then you are still a virgin. It is harder to break than you think.
Its just a flap of skin and don't worry about it breaking. Tampons and athletics break most girls'. If you've never had sex you are still a virgin even if your hymen is torn. Don't stress about it.
