I have been taking birth control pills/ hormonal contraceptives for 8days now am wondering if him cuming inside me Would make me pregnant?

Yes he can. If you begin taking your first pill from the first day that your period starts then the pill becomes effective immediately. However if you start taking them at any other point in your cycle you have to wait one full week for them to become effective. I started mines from the day of my period therefore could have sex straight away. If taken correctly, you should not have to use any other sort of birth control with the pill e. g. Condoms. And yes, he can cum inside you as much or as little as youse like.

My doctor advised me to wait a month before having condomless sex when I started the pill. When I looked into it, as someone else mentioned, the pill has a real world failure rate of 9%. So it's not as effective as many think. Most people know someone who got pregnant on the pill. I still have my boyfriend pull out when we have sex. The odds of both methods failing at the same time are much better than 9%.

8 days is certainly not long enough, ideally you should wait at least a month to allow your body to adjust to the BC.
Even then you should know by now that BC alone will not always prevent pregnancies, therefore please think safe sex and get your boyfriend to put something on the "end of it".

As long as you're taking the pill correctly and for the last 7 days and you're both free from STD's then there shouldn't be any problems.

Have a look at this article, more specifically the question "how effective are birth control pills"... they have a 9% failure rate.
So that's why you have to use double protection: the chance his condom leaks or ruptures and your birth control pill doesn't offer effective second protection at that time is small.
Either one of the two decreases the risk of getting pregnant but you're not safe :o

You're best to ask your doctor how long it takes for birth control to take effect
cause there may be a period of time like 2 weeks before birth control takes effect before you can actually say your safe at having sex without risking getting pregnant.
