My boyfriend can't wear flat-front pants. Is this common?

I generally dislike pleats on pants, but my boyfriend only wears pleated pants. When I mentioned this he said that he couldn't wear flat-fronts because it looked p*rnographic. At first I thought he was just trying to brag or something, but I've been shopping with him and had him try on some and he's totally right. I even made him go up a couple inches in the waist and it's still far too explicit for him to ever wear to work or anywhere really. Is this a common thing? I don't recall ever noticing this on another guy. I mean I see men in my office wearing flat-front pants all the time without any visible issues, so why can't my boyfriend?

Are they tight pants? As in for homos? Because I usually wear pleated and it makes my bulge pretty bad, I only have one pair of flat front because theyre more casual and theyre a slim fit because I'm thin, so they show a bulge too. I can't see pleated pants making it any better though. Maybe he should wear tighter fitting boxers or boxer briefs

Um, "homos?" Odd word choice there. No, not tight. Tighter than his jeans I guess, but just because they're dressier.

I have this issue too. Boxer briefs help but there is still a noticable buldge. My only hope is that girls don't find it disgusting.

He won't do boxer briefs, so that's out. And honestly, if I didn't know him and he was on my train or something, I might find it a bit disgusting. Like I might think that he was doing it purposely and was going to try to rub up against me. It's that blatant.

Lot of guys just tuck it back so it doesn't show. Then there's no visible problems.
