The Fleshlight is a really good value. I have had one for at least 5 years and it is still as good as new despite a lot of use. It does not have to be a substitute for a partner. My girl is good for 2 or 3 sessions a day tops, and out of commission for a week a month of course, so my mistress (Fleshlight) gets the overflow. If you get a Fleshlight, some notes on maximizing a real feel:
- Make sure you have big bottle of water-based lubricant. The toy is useless without it, and you will use more of it than you think.
- Use a dedicated vessel big enough for the rubber part of the unit to fill with hot water. It takes at least 8 minutes to warm up the toy. You want to bring it up to at least 100 degrees for a realistic feel. Put the lube bottle in the water as well to warm that up but take care not to get that stuff too hot.
- Experiment with the adjustment at the bottom of the plastic part of the unit. The more closed it is, the more suction you get. Somewhere in the middle is where I find the best sensation.
- Keep the unit clean. The rubber part has a hole at the non-business end that makes it easy to run water though. Cheaper substitutes do not have this feature. It is really handy as you want the rubber clean and dry after use so that the quality and feel of the rubber stays like new.
