Random unexpected sex in the middle of the night?

I have never heard of this happening before and it was an unusual experience so I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this. My guy and I were sleeping and we both woke up at some point in the middle of the night and just started going at it. We were both pretty unaware of what was going on at first until we actually woke up in the middle of it. I don't really know what my behaviors are while I'm asleep, but I know that there are times he will get horny and even get himself off while he's sleeping. Any explanations or cases where this has happened to anyone else?

There is nothing wrong with it.

While I have never been still asleep, this sort of thing has happened to me as well.

If my wife gets restless, I often wake up. There have been times when she was having a dream that got her aroused, and we end up having midnight sex.

Nothing wrong with it...if you both are interested in it and no one is disturbed or irritated because of this behaviour...

this is some type of phycological behavior and I had read about this in paper.
