What makes a guy have a nice butt to girls?

This may sound odd but one afternoon after a workout at home my mom was at home from work early and I was just in the freezer getting a snack when I heard something very weird. Her words were "John, for a boy you have a nice butt!" Needless to say I was surprised, its not really what I had wanted to hear from my mom. I'm wondering now if any other girls could notice my rear end. At the time when she said it I was just wearing sweatpants. Is it easy to tell when its just in your pants. At school the following days (and I don't want to sound gay) I tried to compare my butt in jeans to other guys in jeans. What I had noticed was my butt was... I'm not sure how to put this... more defined and filled out the jeans I was wearing more. (i.e.it's not flat) So my question is; do the girls notice my butt too and would they like it? And please tell me if so how important a nice butt is on a guy? I'm asking this because I am kinda shy around girls and whenever I talk to one they always come to me and talk. So like I asked before do the other girls notice my butt as well and if so are they interested?

Having a nice butt isn't that important IMO. But its nice to have one! It juss makes you even more attractive/sexier. Most girls won't really notice if you have a nice butt or not and they won't really care but it depends on the girl but in general..its more about Abs and Arms. A guy that has a nice butt is normally toned and bit rounded. Hope that helps :) xo

i have to admit that a few of my girl friends and I do compair guys butts, we all have different types, I prefer the flatter ones while other prefer a peachy bum. Its quite important for me for a guy having a nice butt tbh, men look at boobs and bums on a girl...i look at eyes and bums x

I think I read a study once that said the first thing a woman looks at with random guys after their face is their butt. This does not necessarily mean she is interested though. It's just one of those unconscious habits. Like with guys and girls' bodies.

its not particularily its just that I don't like flat butts ! theyre weird I mean come on youve gotta have some shape to it x and your moms f***ed up dude ! jk I'm sure it was just an offhand comment x
