  • There are several legitimate web sites that will tell you what to do; what not to do; and what to watch out for. It's a strange world with strange and sometimes weird characters. Some are in deep trouble with the law.

When you start you should stay with mainstream directors and companies if you can. There are agents, try-outs, contracts, PR firms, etc just like th straight movie world. Girls get paid more than guys.

Girls have rules about what they will and won't do and this is mainly respected. But in general you have to have your head screwed on straight. It will follow you all your life even when you get out. There are actually a handful of women who have made a lot of money at it. most do not.

One interesting fact about the industry -- unknown to most -- is that it takes health issue like the transmission of STDs very, very seriously. All are forced to get tested quite frequently. It would be great if everyone took as seriously as they do.

I know you posted for fun, but my advice would be to stay away for life unless you know EXACTLY what you are getting into. Most girls really don't know.

  • In all seriousness, if you're going to have sex for money, I think high end prostitution pays better money, and is easier to leave behind, and you can actually do it for longer.

You might get better looking guys in p*rn, but you might not. You will get guys loaded up with viagra screwing for a long time, but you can get that easily enough. In p*rn you are going to be under intense pressure to do gangbangs, tons of hard anal, etc. And most girls last less then a year, I believe.

By contrast there are prostitutes in their 30's still making good money off clients they've been with for a decade.

  • A woman I graduated college with moved to L.A. after school ended, and replied to some modeling ads. At one of them, an agent for an adult film director got in contact with her and asked her to come the agency for a meeting the following week. It must have been successful, because 6 months later, my brother texted me a screencap of the first movie she did - I couldn't believe it, but it was her.

  • I'm guessing that it would be best to start with stripping. Beyond that I'm not sure.
