It's like...

A readiness, it's there and it's ready for one thing.

A tension, there is a tension there, that wants to be relieved.

There may be a feeling of stress, also wishing to be relieved.

An excitement, usually situational, as we may have seen something to excite us.

A hardness, a fundamental quality of an erection, you KNOW it's there.

A possible though poor metaphor may be this: Relax your hand. Now extend your first finger out, straightening as much as you possibly can. Feel that strain to keep it straight out, even bent back a little? It's a bit like that, except it's longer, thicker, and that stress won't just 'go away' by relaxing your finger.

Oh yeah, it definitely would have been the penis. our ovaries would have sperm and not eggs, and our gaping hole of a vagina would have been a HUGE THICK massive penis stem. And we would have sperm instead of a period every month. I'm just going to guess that an erection feel like a HUGE clit...that would feel damned good:)

Imagine your tongue swelling up. While it's swelling up it gets more stiff until it's very hard. That's the best I can do to describe an erection.

You do realize realize that most of the sensation is in the clit and on the surface of the vagina, not inside the actual vagina which has for many women, very little sensation. I don't feel anything when it grows, besides it pushing things out of its way if I've got clothes on.. but it's more sensitive when it's hard...

When I get an erection, I don't normally notice unless it's rubbing against my clothing as it slowly fills up and out. But pretty much unless I'm with a girl naked my erections are clothed anyway, and it feels nice and tingly and warm against my clothes. If I'm naked, I can feel the skin stretching as it fills out and you can feel it get hard under your skin, under your balls.

Now having it touched or touching it is a whole other story...

As far as the tickling thing, I'm reminded being like 8 years old and having a really high pressure shower at my grandparents place and it really tickled the top of him but intense tickling. But the funny thing was I liked the tickling and kept standing back in the water. I don't think I got hard though, maybe a little bit, I was young. Not sure if that helps?
