Personally I wake up before my boyfriend every morning, and this is how I wake him up. He's definitely not offended! Actually, he loves it. It's a great way to wake up and it sets him on a good page for the whole day. I'm sure your man wouldn't be mad at you for waking him up. He'll probably thank you!

You can wake me up anytime for that! I doubt he would mind unless you wake him like way early everyday. If it's only an hour or so before he usually wakes up I can't imagine him getting upset.
