Why do guys freak out about pregnancy and then act happy when their girlfriend actually does get pregnant?

Well I've been with my boyfriend for a few years now and he always freaked out at the idea of me getting pregnant but now I might be and he is acting all happy. His mood swings are giving me whiplash.

Some times that can happen however...I know guys that would probably scream to their girlfriend to get an abortion too. But yea...it is kind of odd what your describing. I guess its something to be avoided but when it happens..its always exciting to bring a baby into the world. I guess I would cpmapre it to when I would feel uneasy about rollecoasters. In line I wouls stare up at it and be all anxious and worried. But then, after riding on it, I had a blast.

Having a child is a life changing experience, so it's normal for people to get worried even if they want a child.

Why is he acting happy now? Maybe he is actually happy, or maybe he is trying to put on a smile so you don't get worried or at least more worried than you are.
