anyway generally songs about sex are the best, songs with heavy beat and like rhythm between fast and slow but there are songs on the slow side that I've done it to. it doesn't take much for me because I love doing it. if you're at a club or a party where people are dancing that's a reason to grind esp if other people are doing it. its great if its a guy I know but if I think a guy is really hot ill do it with a stranger. usually I like to talk to the guy a bit first but I've had guys come up behind me in really packed intense clubs and I just let him have it because he was really hot. if I see a guy who looks like a good dancer, that's ideal but it isn't totally necessary.
a guy should be flirty and charming with me and chat with me if he doesn't already know me. make me feel comfortable with you first. if we know each other and he kind of builds up sexual tension with me over time that can make for awesome grinding. compliments help. actual compliments. not pervy asshole comments. you can make those comments in my ear when you have me on the dance floor on your d*** but that is definitely not the way to get me there.
i have done it with guys who are interested in me, definitely, but I almost prefer to wait with guys like that. the way I grind is just too sexual and nasty and I think if its a guy who really likes me or is interested in me as person, then he should get to know me first. ill just do regular dancing with him that is more cutesy but sexy instead of grinding that I know for a fact will make him come in his pants. so if he's actually into me and I'm actually into him then ill make him wait until after he's my official boyfriend to do the grinding. then he doesn't even have to wait for the club and I can do a lot more than just grind on him if you you know what I mean. :)

I'll dance with most guys, and I actually prefer strangers, because you have your fun for a couple of songs or more, and then you don't have to see them again if you don't want to.
the way it works: you ask me to dance. I look you over quickly. if you're not objectable appearance-wise, I'll say yes. then we just start grinding. getting your foot in the door with me has nothing to do with the song or your dance ability. of course, if you can't grind properly (surprising, but some guys can't even grind to the right beat), I might not stick around after the song's over.
and please ask the girl if she wants to dance first, or at least establish eye contact so that the poor girl doesn't suddenly find a strange guy grinding on her. I know it takes some balls to ask, but the girl will appreciate it. of course, if you're really hot or the girl is really drunk, you might be able to get away with just sneak-attack-grinding. but please, just ask first.
