Erm, I guess it's the surprise element, and the whole fact that you can't do anything...actually, most people tend to eroticise their fears, like this. Like if you're scared of being physically restricted, but not scared of it immensly, then you turn it into a fantasy. That's why bondage is a common fantasy. Lots of people are somewhat scared of being restricted.
