Girls, how did you know you were pregnant?

For those that have been, or are, pregnant, how did you know? I'm afraid that I am.

I actually thought I was going to start my period all the symptoms were the same moodiness, sore breasts, bloated, cramps. All very common symptoms of pregnancy and PMS. I was actually trying though so when my period was a day late I took a test and it was positive. So really a missed period and a positive pregnancy test are pretty sure bets. Also I took a pregnancy test a few days before my missed period since it said I could and it was negative so don't trust a test until after you miss your period even then you might need to take another one if it is negative and you period still does not show up.

I was in the same situation when my very regular period was a few weeks late. I looked up some initial "symptoms" of pregnancy and it can sometimes feel like the cramps you get when you're PMSing and you can start getting cravings and such.

But, as much as I was freaking out, my period came :) Finally!

For you - please take a test and stay on the pill in the future :) Tests aren't that expensive to buy either so do it quick!

I have never been pregnant, but being worried about it is always scary. I recommend getting on birth control pills if you are not already.

Take a test as soon as possible, and take two tests to be sure. The most obvious symptom is a missed period, but that can be cause by being under stress, under-weight, or many other factors. Just get a friend to go with you to buy a test and take it. Good luck!

Well my girlfriend basically told me to sell my car, save all my money, and take "how to be a father" classes... freaked out, made me freaked out.. then took a test and it was negative.

How many days (precisely) did you think you conceive after your period was done?

first my period was really really super light (doesnt happen to everyone)

then my boobs were sore

tired alot

one day just randomly the smell of enchiladas made me want to just go lay in a ditch and die

i have never been in this situation, but if I didn't get my period I would be suspicious, and to find out for sure I would take a pregnancy test
