I think nowadays oral sex is a lot more accepted than decades before. I'm chronic when it comes to casual relationships, and noticed guys are typically surprised [of course in a good way] when I deepthroat them during oral sex as if they wouldn't expect it. Do most girls you guys encounter deepthroat? Normal women are obviously not as raunchy as pornstars nor should they be compared to them. And most of my girlfriends are 50/50 on doing this.

I'd say that most girls don't deep throat.  I don't think that normal girls do.  Mostly because they don't think it's necessary in order to give good head and I agree. To be honest, I don't want my girl to be so into giving me oral and hj's and all that stuff more than they are being into me.  Or worrying that they're doing it just right. or better than anyone else so that I'll like them more. But don't get me wrong, I want the sexual part of my relationship to be good, but it's certainly not the most important part.  Frankly, I like the inexperienced girl better, but that's me.  I'm just not all that much into girls that have that "extra" experienced in doing things with other guys nor girls that have been around too much. I agree with that first statement you made

Rarely do I find a woman that can deep throat and I'm only average in penis size. I don't think more or less of girl that can do it. It's nice if she can because it feels incredible, but I certainly don't think less of her if she can't. It's not natural to have some wedge that far down your mouth, hence the gag reflex.

Yeah it's like guys get so excited and they're like wtf when I go all the way down too. i can deepthroat my guy sometimes, it depends on the situation, i.e. the position, how long weve already been doing it, how hard he is, how relaxed I am, etc. its not really a moral issue for me. It all depends on the girl's gag reflex.  My best friend doesn't EVER gag, so she always deep throats.  She's one of the only girls I know that can actually handle it.  Props to you if you can do it without gagging, I wish I could!

Deepthroating is not a moral issue or about trying something new, it's about how much penis you can comfortably cram down your throat.  Some women just can't physically take it all in, especially if the guy has a thick penis.

Porn often casts the illusion that every girl is deep throating and can do it well... but don't let it fool you, this is the reason oral sex or deep throating "seems" more accepted. Sure, I'd say more are trying now than ever, but you should take what your friends say with a grain of salt because it's merely an unrealistic burden put on women by porn culture and men who glorify it.
