  • Having gone down on a number of women myself, I'd say that the best advice is to explore with your partner and have good communication to find out what she likes. My experience is that women are quite varied in what they like.

    Personally, while I don't think that a person should neglect the other areas, I prefer a focus on the clitoris. I also prefer a guy to use a firm tongue---it doesn't hurt and it's more likely to bring me to orgasm than a gentle, soft tongue. Keep in mind that women vary in how sensitive their clitoris is and the type of stimulation that they enjoy. I know some women who actually like it when someone bites hard on their clitoris (though I wouldn't suggest doing that unless you've asked your partner if she likes it beforehand). On the other hand, some women are very sensitive and prefer if their partner only stimulates around the clitoris, since stimulating it directly can be painful.

    Some women like having their labia sucked hard.
