A lot of women wear the wrong size. And the size of the cup will vary depending on the size of the band. In other words there's more boobage in a 38D bra than in a 32D bra even though both are D cups. But because the 38 is a bigger woman, the 32D girl may actually look bigger. It's possible in your case that you should be in a larger band, smaller cup bra if you have very little breast projection away from your chest wall when topless. On the other hand, if you can easily get a decent amount of cleavage with a bra, then you don't know what an A cup looks like.

There was a documentary in the UK recently about this, run by two so-called fashion icons "Trinny" and "Susannah" and while those po-faced harridans would annoy the t*ts off of anyman in under thirty seconds, they apparently did a good service by educating many British women about the correct way to determine what bra size they should be wearing.

The cup size comes from the difference in the measurement around your t*ts and under them. The bigger the difference the bigger the cup. There are charts for these online that you could google for and then you can find your right size.
For an A cup there isn't much difference and yes there isn't much there. If your 34C fits then that is probably what you have and if you think they look like an A then you clearly have a distorted view on sizes.
Hm it could be that you're frame is just large and your breasts appear smaller in comparison. Or you are wearing the wrong size, which most women are. I'm a DD and my t*ts look big. Lol
OH MY GOD THIS IS IS SO TRUE! I'm a 36 C cup too and it fits perfectly and I have a DD friend and her boobs looks HUGE but I feel like mine look so small! I don't know what it is!

Nope, if anything I have the opposite problem. I'm a DD but have a tiny waist, so my boobs look f***ing huge. :S
