As for the number of partners I'd be comfortable with, I honestly can't say for sure because I don't know how I'd feel either way if I was in that situation. It matters more to me the circumstances of her past partners, rather than the number. If she's only ever had flings and one nighters, then I probably couldn't trust that she'd be serious in the relationship. It's probably a generalization, but one that is true a good bit- a guy/girl that is into flings usually is for a reason. They like the sex and the fun, and that's the reason why they haven't had a relationship for long. But even saying that, there could always be a reason why she did what she did so it would really depend on the girl and the situation.
If her partners were people she was comfortable with, then you can't really get mad at that.
I haven't kept track, but I think it's around 15. There was only one girl I didn't care about, and I regret that like crazy.
In my partner, I don't really care about her number except for two situations:
1. I never EVER EVER want to know her number, or about her previous experiences, or things she's done with other guys.
2. I don't care how long it's been, but there's no way to prevent me from being jealous if we're around a guy she's been with, or if she continues to be close friends with an ex. I wouldn't be able to trust her.
