I guess you get tested. You should have done that before having unprotected contact. You're probably going to be fine. You don't have anything until you have it. No sense panicking just yet.
When I ask a girl to get tested with me, it's because I'd like to stop using a condom. It usually goes with me asking if she'd be willing to go on birth control.
Perhaps he heard this girl he was once with came down with something.

By the way, the pull out method of birth control is remarkably ineffective. Assuming you aren't using other forms of contraception, I'd be more worried about getting pregnant.

Also, unprotected sex before you know someone's test results is a horrible idea.
Get tested and hope for the best. If it turns out you have something ask all the necessary questions and do everything you can. But don't freak out until it's official. Just be more careful. And getting tested is not a big deal.
