Okay so here's a thought I had. I'm a virgin, so I'm not talking from any knowledgeable perspective, but what do YOU think? So we have not sex toys for women that are totally beyond anything any penis could ever do no matter what size or shape it is. They can't vibrate, they can't be made of jelly, you name it. Couples use sex toys in the bedroom and this totally enhances their sex life - sex is better than ever before, but now vaginal sex is never going to be as physically satisfying for a woman as using a toy. HAVING SAID THAT, of course men can compete with sex toys. In fact, sex toys can't possibly compete with MEN, because men can love and men have a warm body against you, they are a person that can switch up the sex as a whole and do your fantasies, whisper in your ear, give you a massage, run with you in the rain and surprise you with amazing expressions of love. But they can't be feel as good as sex toys, and this need not be a bad thing. My question is, do you think that the introduction of sex toys to sex has now completely eliminated the 'penis size competition' because that's it. All men lose equally to the sex toys. Do you think that as of today a lover's capacity and success sexually will be determined pretty much 97% by his romance and emotional/ psychological/ sex skills (i.e oral etc) / ability to relate sexually as an amazing boyfriend/ otherwise being hot / simply being compatible? Do you think size simply isn't relevant anymore? Because that's how it seems to me, but of course I have zero experience.

Personally, I would say that ~97% of a man's capacity and success sexually is determined by romance, emotional and sexual connection/compatibility, good communication skills, enthusiasm, open-mindedness/willingness to try new things, etc. REGARDLESS of if sex toys even existed.

To be honest, I have a lot of sex toys. The reason I have them is mainly because I love to explore sexually. When I was old enough to buy sex toys, I bought them because I thought, "That looks cool, I want to try it!" But out of all of my toys, NONE of them feel better than a real penis. A penis can't be made of jelly? GOOD. Jelly doesn't feel all that great---it has a lot more friction and so it can "tug" on your skin, which is really uncomfortable. A penis feels perfect sliding in and out. It has just the right amount of "give" to be enjoyable (not too rigid, not too soft). And size? Most of my "insertable" sex toys are the same size as an average penis (5-6"), and if it's bigger, I don't insert the entire length (I use the extra inches to hold on to with my hand). My favorite toys are ones that aren't even insertable (i.e. vibrators to use on my clitoris).

The only time I would enjoy a sex toy more than an actual penis is if the penis is attached to a guy that is a bad lover (i.e. a selfish lover), or a guy that I have no sexual/emotional connection with. Otherwise, vaginal sex is pretty much always more physically satisfying to me than using a toy.

penises and and sex toys are two totally different things that can't even be compared and there's no need for them to compete.

yes, sex toys can vibrate and do a lot of cool things penises can't... but, you have to manipulate them yourself so you only have one hand left to do other fun things like play with your boobs. and, there's no more depressing way to spend your post-orgasmic bliss than cleaning sex toys. sex toys don't twitch or pulse or ooze precum, they don't have soft skin, you can't watch them get hard, and you can't make them come (which is my favorite lol). and most of all, sex toys are not attached to a man that I care deeply about. penises are hot. waaaaay more sexy than a piece of plastic. you have nothing to worry about. although, if you are a guy and are confident and competant enough to use toys with your lady, definitely ups your hotness points quite a bit :)

As a 40 yr old, sex toys are no big deal at all. In fact they are fun and an enhancement to combine and keep things spicy in the bedroom.
