I don't really like most lingerie. Anything that has any real structure (bra/bustier) I don't like; I like my girl in soft, thin things with as few seams, darts, lace, or ribbons as possible. I find a string bikini MUCH sexier than most lingerie, for example.
I like naked, but a girl in a tight, thin little tank top and panties is WAY hot to me. Or wearing one of my shirts and panties. It's still a tease, and something I get to rip off of her, but it's more attractive to me.
But I've never gone for the Barbie/Playboy look either. I like the natural, girl-next-door look.
How about this for an answer? A girdle. A classic, white girdle is enormously sexy. Unfortunately, the garment has gone the way of the Edsel, the Dodo Bird and typewriters. It's a damn shame. It's the sexiest garment in my humble opinion. Until the 1970's, it was a staple in any woman's wardrobe. If I had a time machine, I'd go back to 1962, when every woman wore one.
I really love lingerie. I feel so sexy when I put on a nice bra and panties. It doesn't even have to be special or complex. I especially love being able to wear something more provocative under my clothes as I go about my day, at work, running errands. No one knows and I just feel so sexy, its amazing.
It is a bit of a tease, but I think that's what makes it great. It shows so much, but covers just the right places to drive you nuts. That and the slight manipulations it causes to accentuate my curves makes me feel like I'm wearing it not the other way around.

hey, remember we can always wear it under our normal/day clothes too. I love to go shopping for that stuff and wear some little lace thing that no-one else knows about under smart suit trousers. makes people wonder while I'm always smiling ;O)

I've always thought of it like a picture frame. Sure, a picture certainly looks great on its own, but a nice frame can really accentuate the right attributes

Just regular lingerie is fine. Too complex, and it's no fun anymore, like solving a puzzle. While fun, puzzles aren't exactly sexy, even if I do get t*ts at the end.
However, I will say that I don't like lingerie with the boobs or vagina visible. If I can see your boobs with lingerie on, then it completely defeats the point of having it.
I will say that corsets are pretty badass, though.
Personally, I feel sexier in some hot lingerie...but it also depends on my sex drive at the time, if I hav/want foreplay-lingerine...if not...:)
