I like making it last longer, so I go slower. Faster = better. Perhaps _too much_ better if I'm trying to last longer. My current partner at least, I would say I am more sensitive to speed then she is. The best way for me to get her off while lasting a long time is long, deep strokes, then speed up when she's close and I don't need to hold back.

You pretty much said this, that going slow 'builds up the feeling'. Because its not quite as good, so its letting things get better as you speed up.
