What does it really matter if a girl is 23 and still a virgin but she masturbates?

Does it really matter if a girl is 23 and still a virgin but masturbates. It seems as though losing your virginity is more for people, and to prove to people something about you. To tell people in society for verification that you are "normal". If a girl has not find someone she can be in a relationship with and have sex with because she only wants to do this with someone who wants to love her, does it really matter in society that she is still a virgin and 23? What is really the big deal if she enjoys masterbating, does she really have to go and have sex with someone just simply lose her virginity just so she doesn't seem retarded in society? I thought sex is suppose to be fun and pleasurable. If she can't find someone she thinks she will be have to find it pleasurable with, what difference does it really make if she just masterbates and gains pleasure? Isn't it better for her to just masturbate and actually enjoy herself than have sex with someone just to seem "normal"?

  • Yeah its perfectly normal, Guys do it all the time. I was like that at one point, and I didn't think much of it. Also its a good thing to save it for someone special then just giving up to someone who seems nice. Sex comes and goes, but love can last for eternity. I mean till then should you still pleasure yourself in a way you prefer, yeah. It's your own fun time and your own body, your in control of it and should feel free to do whatever you desire. Don't let anyone tell you different. =)

  • I can't imagine why anyone on earth would care if you do or don't have sex, except you and your boyfriend. You masturbate, so your cumming, and that will keep your vagina healthy and make you feel good. What more is needed?

  • It's normal and fine, but it's also normal for that to raise a red flag. A lot of dudes might assume you're religious or that you'll be the clingy type since you're 23 & still a virgin

Masturbation is irrelevant in this whole scenario because in assuming your main issue to virginity(I could be wrong, correct me if I am lol)

  • Yes it is absolutely normal. She's jus waiting to fall in love so she can have sex. I think that's normal.I don;t think virginity is something you just give away to someone you know?

    • Then why does society like to put labels on people? In other societies women are seen as abnormal if they're not married. It's like even in this day and age, a woman's worth is nothing without a man. I find this depressing since men these days don't want a woman for a longterm relationship. So why do all the women who want one have to suffer in the process? And no it's not that women don't want the nice guys. I wish guys would also stop complaining about this nice guy bad guy thing

    • Society has put labels on women since forever. A man doesn't define a women. We are our own people. Many guys just want casual sex, but if you find the right one he'll love to be with you and fall in love. Women suffer in the process of bad guys being around because they believe they are wanted when they at least around a guy. I know, I think a guy needs to be a little bit of a bad boy that knows how to treat a women.

  • There are a lot of virgins at that age. virginity is not a big deal, but if you're 23 and never had a relationship and you want one, that might raise a little red flag
