Is it common for women to think penises are weird, ladies?

So, I'm interested in a girl that said that penises are weird. And I understand, it's another apendage- I can see how it would seem strange, but with her, she says it's to the point that she doesn't like them, nor do they turn her on even when erect. This was before we ever got together, just her experience with others. And while she seems to like sex, she doesn't have much of an active sex drive. My questions are: Is this common? Are any of you that way? Can you perhaps explain this to me a little better?

  • Okay for men I don't think penises are attractive at all. I mean I'm turned on by an erection like the bulge in a guys pants. It's the IDEA that I am attracted to; not the actual penis. If that makes sense.

    • That makes sense I suppose. I do think vaginas are very attractive and sexy, but she said the same thing you did- she doesn't understand how guys can like vaginas like that. I'm not totally sure that the idea even works for her though... She hasn't really said either way on that one. Thank you for responding!

    • Hahaa, well you can always try having her pick up a romance novel. :p I think it's pretty natural for a straight girl to not understand the vagina thing. It's possible she just doesn't have a strong sex drive, or she hasn't had a lot of sex. You should ask her if the idea turns her on at least... I mean a few of my friends think penises look odd too, but we're all still turned on by every other aspect of a guy. Like his muscles, chest, face, etc just their masculinity in general.

  • We aren't really like uys because I doubt that any, well most women are like penis is so hot. No, we like the things it can do no doubt. But the actual look of it is somewhat gross. You know?     • Thanks its a good question to ask guys shouldn't feel bad about themselves it has really nothing to do with you which seems odd, but it's true a penis isn't really a mantle piece the only person I personally know that loves the look of a penis is my friend Tyler who is gay so I don't know if that helps. Plus do guys like the look of a vag w/o a hot girl attached?

    • Actually, I would say most guys do, but we are a lot more visual than you girls are.

  • Well I don't think they are weird or disgusting or anything like that - but at the same time I don't think they are particularly attractive... just like I don't think any other random body part is particularly attractive.

    That being said, I AM turned on when when I see that my guy is hard for me and I think his d*** is attractive. That's more probably because I love him rather than anything special about his d*** though.

  • I don't think it's common, but I'm not a woman to judge. At least the fact that she is arousing you should turn her on, I mean she doesn't have to like how penises look like. She sounds a bit gay to me, or maybe she has a very low sexual drive. =\

  • It is not common for a woman to react that way to penises. She sounds gay, but not sexually adventurous enough to have changed teams yet.

    • Seriously: I know girls that said THE EXACT SAME THING in high school, and we laughed together. These girls dated men and slept around. But now, as grown women, they love p****. Women that are fundamentally are not attracted to penis eventually tire of the sexual experiment of being straight.
