At what age do most people become interested in sex?

To be honest some people never do. It's called Asexual.

I not only didn't want sex but just found it strange and awkward and whenever it was in movies it really bothered me because, well... WTF does this have to do with the plot?! I just never understood it.

It wasn't until I met my current boyfriend that I even wanted to kiss someone, let alone have sex. And that was when I was almost 20.

But every one is different. Some people start getting interested in sex right when they hit puberty others not until their middle aged, some never. There is no "norm".

im 20 and I literally didn't get ready until a couple months ago. I'm still a virgin and I'm going to give it to a guy I care about. so many kids have sex just because their horny and regret it later in life or can't accept the consequences that go along with having sex

Honestly, I've had an interest in sex since I first found out what it was. I remember being really young and playing house with my friends and we would pretend that we were having sex with our boyfriends. I also made my Barbie dolls have sex with each other.

It varies from person to person. I would venture to say that kids can become interested in sex as early as age 5, but for even the most sex-crazed children, they don't engage in the act until about 14. Now, I'm talking about the driven kids who were born to get "busy".

For the typical teens, add two or three years to that average and most likely a 17 year old has engaged in sex of some kind. A respectable amount (though not the majority) can remain virgins well into their 20's.

Either way, it doesn't even matter.

I was around 14. Yeah all people are different though, your girlfriend should be happy that your not interested in her for soley sexual reasons like a lot of teenage guys tend to have a girlfriend for :)

Otherwise people are into sex during and after puberty. I know I was, lol.
