Marks on the skin don't have a big impact on attractiveness, which is far more driven by shape.

There have also been studies showing that women find men with scars more attractive, and men are indifferent to it.

We are programmed to look for 'good looking' mates i.e. good genetics. Things like symmetrical features are signs of good genes. Scar tissue actually doesn't say anything about genes - beyond the fact the person overcame adversity, so we don't naturally find someone with scars much less attractive.
