my current boyfriend was a virgin when I met him.(yeah.i know.) and so when we have sex he lasts at the most.10 minutes. now this is in regard to just the sex itself, not any of the foreplay, which of course lasts much longer, but as the actual sex.10 minutes. it's kinda funny but I'm beginning to worry. I don't even have time to come. he makes me come other ways, but not yet through actual strictly penetration. hmm. so yeah, how long did you guys last at first, and how long was it before you could last longer? he's about to turn 20 in a few weeks by the way.

If someone tells you they lasted longer then ten minutes when they first started having sex, 9 times outta then they're lying to you and trying to be 'the man'.

He'll build up a tolerance the more you have sex. Sex is something that takes practice like anything else.

Another thing that is often done wrong, is that leading up to first sexual encounters. When men masturbate they do it to shoot one out and not prolong it, usually, before they blow. Prolonging during masturbation will help build a tolerance in sex.

With my current girlfriend (she was my first) the first time I didn't last very long. yea like 10 min. But once I started to learn other things I could do to/with her that would not "set me off" but keep HER going. yea. fun :D.

Everyone is different, I had the problem of lasting 2 hours (yea sounds good till you think about it really) and didn't come with my Girlfriend until the third time we slept together. If you read most journals 10-15 min is average for both sexes when it comes to orgasm. Talk to him more it will distract him, also change positions at least once. You do it right and your still working to a head while he is back at square one.

When I was 19-20 I was probably on my 3rd or 4th sexual relationship and I remember having sex sometimes for hours.  I can't remember exactly how long before I came, but that doesn't stop me from continuing sex.  You should get him started again after he cums, if you can get him going again, I promise he'll last longer than 10 minutes.  I can think of times where I may of come after 10-15 minutes, but then continued on for another hour or much more.

Well, looking at     (found from wikipedia's premature ejaculation page) It seems that the average time for an 18-30yr old to last is 6.5minutes (look at figure 2). So, if your guy is lasting 10minutes, that's totally fine.    Also, one question for you is, do you know, are you able to climax from vaginal sex? The far majority (80% iirc) can't, so it's very likely he could hammer away all day long and you wouldn't orgasm.   I don't think there should be anything to worry about. If there's something you're not satisfied about, talk to him about it and maybe you two could change your foreplay or add something that will make sex more enjoyable.
