I just started my junior year at university. I noticed this trend around girls that would wear booty-shorts, tank tops with their boobs half open; they would also pack on their makeup like there is not tomorrow. Everyone chooses for themselves and accordingly what reactions they would expect from people around them. Of course serious guys will not notice such girls. These girls obviously have no shame and it's sad. Clearly they know what they want to get, that is why there are rape cases at university campuses! Well DUH! Dressing in a more conservative yet beautiful way is not in style, but dressing like an immoral girl, it's quite in style! I'm not judging, I just wanted to put it out there, because clearly it's getting out of hand.

Now god forbid any woman get raped due to clothing choice but I'm just saying be smart ladies, be smart. This is not an idealistic place as we would like to imagine, a world in which a woman can walk down the street in an extremely suggestive outfit and expect to get treated with respect because it is her RIGHT to do so and it is just WRONG to harass her for it. Your college is the exact opposite of mine. The girls at my college (Miami University in Oxford, Ohio), dress extremely conservative.

I honestly don't think that dressing provocativley will get you raped. "Clearly they know what they want to get, that is why there are rape cases at university campuses" wrong - there are so many rape cases because there guy doing it. If you make out with a guy and then stop in the middle of the heat you might run a slightly higher chance to get raped. But unless you cover yourself in a burka, I don't think the way you are dressed has a big infulence on wether you get raped or not.

That being said, why does it bother you so much. You said it yourself, "they know what they want to get" and they are getting it, everyone is happy
