Have you ever heard or seen your parents having sex? Or not necessarily your biological parents but your stepmum or stepdad, how old you were? how did you feel like? what did you see or heard? what were your thoughts in that moment? And after?I have heard and seen my parents sadly lol, I have seen them a couple of times, but I was small and I just thought oh they are having sex, I was a bit disgusted but I just went quickly and since they were really into it they never noticed, and NO I don´t spy them :P, and since my bed is against the wall beside their bed I hear them every time they have sex even though they try to keep it quiet he he, I just put some music on since I feel disgusted lol, what about you?

I accidentally walked in one time, they were under the covers but I could tell. Shut the door and walked away. Sort of disgusted, more embarrassed.

I am a night owl, so I often stayed up late while living at home, including when I worked until midnight and wasn't ready for sleep when I got home. Typically I watched TV, but once I was reading and I started hearing the bed squeaking above me. It was pretty obvious, and loud enough that you knew the exact pace, etc. I just thought to myself, good lord, I need to find something else to do.

I have also had houseguests (obviously NOT my parents) who had sex while staying at my house. That was sort of hot, actually.

I once walked in on my parents once when I was a kid. Didn't realize what was happening until WAY later.

My mom once asked if I could hear her and my stepdad getting it on. Seeing as men are visual creatures, I couldn't help but imagine it in my head. I was like "MOM, PLEASE NO." God that was awful.

Yes I have seen them in action. I was probably 15 at the time and was going to get a drink of water. My parents had their bed room door wide open which was kind of across the way. I cracked my door open and saw my mom bent over the bed and my dad from behind. I never said anything, I am happy they are sexually active.

Yup, unfortunately. I won't go into detail, but thank goodness I didn't see or hear anymore than I actually saw and heard. It was quite traumatizing. :P I was in high school at the time.

I know this can be more than a bit traumatic when we're young! Making love can seem violent to the eyes of anyone who doesn't know what's going on (like a kid).

But, as we grow up, can't we accept that elder people too have their own sexual needs? Perhaps more now than anytime in the past, in the post-"sexual liberation" world, where women, elders, those-into-second-marriages have learnt to blatantly express their own sexuality... in ways which were frowned upon earlier?
