It could be the fluid from arousal, in which case maybe you just had a nice dream and don't remember it. Or, your body could have had extra discharge for some reason. The vagina works in strange ways. I would bet, though, depending on the time of your cycle, that it was cervical fluid.
Cervical fluid is usually very sticky feeling, and can be clear to egg-white colored. It just is produced during the week anda half after your period to help with fertility. We all produce it, but in different levels. I frequently have three or four days a month where I discharge quite a bit of it, but some people never have enough to notice it. So it's cool. I wouldn't worry about it until the discharge has an unusual odor or color.

Actually when you have discharge and it is completely clear, like crystal or a diamond clear and sticky its usually when your body is ovulating because its a indicator of that, but not every month it happens because your levels are always different from how you treat your body and how healthy you are or your age. Its nothing to worry about it happens to ever girl sometimes every month or just a couple times a year but no fear its just your vagina and the strange workings of female anatomy
its normal and doesn't necessarily mean you had a sexy dream. during sleep, there is more blood flow to the genital region, which in turn makes your vagina produce more discharge. (this is also why guys get morning wood).
The women can give you better answers than I can. But IME, the fluid women produce when turned on is serous (thin) and clear.
