When girls say they like a guy with ripped abs, how ripped do they mean?

Do girls mean like body builder ripped abs or like just feint lines that lightly show the ab muscles? Perhaps a link to a picture would help. One that shows just the perfect amount.

To me the term "ripped" describes the abdominal definition in the male torso.

If "packs" or definition is visible..I call the dude "ripped"...(6 packs, 8 packs, 10 packs...etc)

Ripped is always buff regardless of how lean...

You don't need to look like The Situation and be all vain about it. But toned is definitely nice - or at least if it looks like you put a little effort into doing some ab work. Don't forget about arms, legs and butt though. Summary - Toned is nice - not expecting ripped - some of those guys love themselves too much.

It all depends on the girls taste in abs. I personally, liek were its ovbious they have a 6 or 8 pack but you can't see there veins pop out in there arms and just a general muscular build.
