Girls, is it normal for your girlfriend to have to poop right before sex?

So the other night me and my girlfriend that I knew for about 3 weeks now were ready to have sex and right when she pulls down her panties after we were playing with each other for a while and making out, she tells me and decides she needs to poop right before we have intercourse, really right before and after she pulled down her panties. I really had no idea what to say and she just ran straight to the bathroom, but then 5 minutes later she thought nothing of it and we started making out again. Would she just make this up as something else or did she really have to go?

  • She was probably holding it in. I usually don't poop around my boyfriend and I think a lot of us girls are that way. I had sex once when I had to poop and it was a challenge to keep it (solid) in. The actions of intercourse can easily bring on a bowel movement. In my case, I had to excuse myself shortly afterwards because if I didn't I would have soiled the bed. When I did use the toilet, my body was still quivering from sex and now I was having a natural bowel movement (that is, no pushing needed); it actually felt really good to go poop right after sex. But in her case, she probably felt at the last minute that she would not be able to keep it in so that is why she went then.

    This made me lol I don't think its normal to tell your boyfriend you need to poop so casually especially at that particular moment.

  • It's not weird/abnormal that she had to poop before having sex but it is weird that in such an intimate moment right before sexy time she told you she was going to poop. But whatever maybe she just views poop as no big deal!

    • Right. Better before than during. But usually it would be "hold on a second... I will be right back." To specifically mention a poop, something is going on. Maybe she was trying to tell him -- the coast would be clear for anal?

  • She was probably hoping for anal. How many times do we tell girls to poop before anal? Now RIGHT before is a bit more rare. I would think she would do that before her shower, then hop in there and clean up good, THEN go out and get it on. Did she leave the door open a crack? That can be a sign she wanted you to watch. In any event, it was WAY better for her to poop before sex than during? Just saying.

  • If she had to go she had to go, we're all human. Maybe she was feeling bloated and had gas and was worried that there would be an accident if she let a guy thrust something hard into her over and over so she had to go to be safe. I don't think it's normal or not normal but I would prefer a girl go to the bathroom rather than be uncomfortable and insecure the entire time we have sex.

    It's hard to know based on one incident. Maybe she'd been holding it for a while but knew she absolutely had to go in order to be comfortable during intercourse. Girls are often embarassed about pooping around guys they like so it's possible she was just trying to hold it.
