Girls, do you have sex on your period?

I was just wondering because me and my boyfriend don't, he says it grosses him out, and it might gross me out as well, so I don't mind that we don't do it. Although, I do get a bit annoyed when I say, ''I'm just going to the bathroom.'' And he's like ''Eww, to change your tampon?'' It's a natural thing, us girls can't help it, it's just mother nature calling :) So girls, do you have sexual intercourse on your period?What's it like?   • Well... I used to be all for it, I'd be way into it. I sort of liked the idea, ahaha. Guys would tell me stories about going down on a girl and then seeing she was on her period and just not being able to do it, and I would always say 'Man, what a WASTE.' Now, I dunno, I've gotten a little more sqeamish I think. I don't know why that is, just the thought of it kinda makes me shiver. It'd depend on how bad she gets it, I guess. But that's only for going down on her, I'd do whatever else we normally do, I'd just be a little ginger about putting my mouth on it.

    It never makes me go 'ew', anyway. I talk about it with my friends quite a lot, ahaha, and as such I know a fair bit about it. And some girls, who don't know that, would try and say something like 'You don't know about *this*, we girls get *this*', and I'd be able to tell her I do know about it, ahaha. Never helps, though.     It doesn't bother me one way or another. A bit of the scent of blood, but really not messy (specially if you avoid the first day, or stick to days when the flow is less).

  • All the time. For me it's just like regular sex. The only difference really is that right before things get too heated, I have to go remove my tampon, which unfortunately makes me a little dryer than normal since the tampon just keeps all that foreplay lube. Besides that, we just have sex as normal, sometimes using a towel when it's heavier flow.

    One of my exes couldn't stand the thought of blood on his d*ck. He would refuse to do anything three days before and three days after.. just in case.     To answer what was it like, well the first time I did it on my period, blood got on his shirt, and all over his bed, and I felt bad. He wanted to keep going, but I stopped though, because I thought it was gross. My second time was with another guy and it was at the end of my period and it was light. I probably wouldn't do it again, unless I was really horny. I guess I'm a lucky girl, to get a guy who doesn't care that I'm on my period.

  • Lol, I'd be annoyed by those little comments too, he seems kind of immature about it. But hopefully it's something he'll grow out of, even if it never means having sex on your period. At least maybe eventually it won't seem like such a disgusting and foreign thing to him. =P

    I have no problem with intercourse or other sex acts on my period, so long as there's a towel and/or shower available for clean-up. And my dude doesn't care at all, he'll go down on me with a tampon in and everything, which surprised me. But if it doesn't bother him, then it doesn't bother me.

    I have no idea why he would say something about changing your tampon. Guys know you have periods and they know you have to change the products. Most guys like tampons better than pads, because of the smell. Also, a guy can easily bring you to orgasm with his fingers when you are wearing a tampon.
