Is it normal for virgins to use vibrators/dildos, or are they usually for more experienced women?

I'm thinking of buying some toys, and I'm a virgin. I'm wondering if such toys are made for more experienced women or if it's common for virgins to use them too. I hope this question makes sense. : / Does anyone out there have any recommendations for good anal toys/vibrators? I already have one picked out for the other spot. Also: I found the vibrator I want on Vibrators.com for $40 and it comes with a free 3 oz. bottle of lube, and I found the same vibrator on Amazon for only $30, but with no lube. Which is the better deal? THANKS!

  • I'm a virgin, and I love my vibrator and free p*rn. I didn't want my first time with a guy to be a painful experience; I was so tight took me three tries to get the damn thing in. I would have hated to have gone through that with an impatient boyfriend.

Besides every woman should know what an orgasm feels like, she shouldn't have to wait for a man to come along and to give it to her. Men sure don't wait for us to give one to them.

    • That's so true! The only problem I have is that I haven't been able to get an orgasm from the penetration from my vibe, although the vibrations still feel nice. :S

    • U need a vibrating butt plug in your ass while you play with the front. That SHOULD do it.

  • Personally I don't use them, but I have considered it. I think most girls who have little or no expierence usually don't have any toys at home, but they're not just for expierenced women. If you want to have one, go ahead.

  • Go for it, I'm also a virgin & I have a vibrator and anal toy. You should get a small butt plug if you want to try a anal toy. I think the $40 deal is better.

  • Theres nothing wrong with using vibrators now -- there's no reasons not to have great orgasms while you're waiting for the right guy. It certainly won't stretch you out of place -- muscles in the body stretch and return... when you poop, it doesn't leave your anus open for a while afterward!

You can get KY at your local grocery, even the tingling kind. You might want to do that an save some money.

  • No such thing as a beginner's vibrator, get any one you want.

If I were buying blind, I'd get a Pleasurette Mini. 4" long, 3 speeds, AAA battery, discreet but with a little length for those who enjoy insertion. And at $19 (Good Vibrations), it's no great loss if I'm wrong.

P.S.: Go without the lube. You'll want to buy that in bulk, since you'll be going through it like hand soap.

    • "P.S.: Go without the lube. You'll want to buy that in bulk, since you'll be going through it like hand soap." That might just be the funniest thing I've ever read, regardless of how true it is. ha ha : )

    • Excellent!

  • Don't get a damn dildo and pop your own cherry. It isn't just for experienced girls or anything, but I mean, because you are a virgin, guys are going to want you to be tight and expect that. Don't go and stretch yourself out.

    • Actually, guys aren't really going to give a sh*t. One, because a vibrator is not going to "stretch her out" and two, because the guy she's likely going to be with is just going to be excited she's letting him have sex with her, not worrying about "whether or not she's as tight as a virgin should be." Fyi, the vagina doesn't really "stretch" unless it undergoes something traumatic, like child birth. And even then it returns to normal or near normal size.

    • I wanted to say most of this, but I was afraid I'd go on a rant and I didn't want to be rude, since I'm the one asking for advice. Thanks, T! :)

    • No problemo. :)

  • I think it is normal and a very healthy bay for a girl to experiment before actually having sex, the safest sex in the world is always sex with yourself

I'd probably start with a small vibrator, maybe a bullet type one for your clitoris, and can't use too much live in my experience

  • I never had one til after I had sex.
