Is it true that pumpkin pie and lavendar scents on a woman make a man go hard by 40% faster?

a recent science article said that the combination of pumpkin pie scent mixed with lavender on a womans skin makes a man go wild instantly, because pumpkin pie has warm spices like cinnamon and ginger and nutmeg, and then its also sweet, and the warmth stimulates the male brain, and then lavender is floral and relaxing and it calms the man's mind, so those two mixed together turns him into a sexual animal gone wild! has anyone smelled or know of such a perfume? do men agree that it'd work? what about vanilla is that outdated?

  • hmm. well I think that could work if it was mixed in the right way, not too sweet and not too flowery. but I think different guys prefer different scents that give them different thoughts about the wearer. flowery smells, sweet dessert smells, musky smells, fresh fruity type smells, they can all be the same to one guy, or have completely different effects. I think girls are the same way. like I don't like axe and tag, I like my guy to smell kind of like bar soap and stuff like that. those cologne smells make me think of sleazy guys and soap smell makes me think of fresh and clean haha. and some guys don't like flowery smells so much on girls because it reminds them of their aunt or gramma or old ladies at church. or it could be opposite and they like a certain perfume because it reminds them of someone close and gives them a safe warm feeling. musky smells are usually the ones to get guys going though because I think the sexy musky perfumes are designed with hormones and senses in mind. so I don't know if that combo would make them get hard all fast but it probably tingles their senses and could make them want to be closer to you to smell you more. I don't know if you believe in astrology but if you search for scents by your sign they come up with some good ones that might fit you well. I'm aries and it said amber, sandalwood, and foresty sorts of smells work best and I love those kinds of smells on me. I think what you like the best will be attractive to a guy who likes you. whew long. haha

  • I think this might work better if you were having a guy over and you burned a candle with the pumpkin spice/cinnamon smell or the lavender candle or maybe wore alittle bit of lavender oil on your skin mixed with some vanilla.

I know that guys love that pumpkin scent though...I gave out candles to coworkers for Xmas and I had a bunch for people to pick from and every single guy picked the ones with the pumpkin/fall smells lol the women all picked the other ones (vanilla/butter cream/floral)

  • I have heard vanilla. And bacon. hahaha! Who wants to smell like bacon?

  • I've dated women that have tried to wear the pumpkin stuff, and with the cinnamon too. All they end up doing, was reminding me of Thanksgiving.

I WANT TO DATE HER, NOT EAT HER! :-P'

But Vanilla...ummm...not that is a different story. I get all light headed and euphoric when a girl wears vanilla. I get all wobbly in the knees and become powerless in her prowess.

    • haha so basically we should stick to vanilla? :)

  • Yeah, it's our most hidden secret.

Except the logic is flawed. Relaxing with lavender does not mean sexual animal gone wild. Even if I'm eating pumpkin pie.

Unless those Spa's I hear about are getting a LOT more action then I imagine.

  • Never ran into this. Only scent that's done that to me was mint, but that's more visceral than physical.

I think those two together might make me feel a bit nauseous in the wrong setting.

  • We are already sexual animals. We get hard at the maximum speed all the time... anything faster that that is unnecessary. Believe me.

    • but perfume and scent always enhances things, the scent of a woman gets stored in his memory and it becomes personal

    • Yeah... Lets face it: Guys care more about how you look than how you smell. If you don't smell bad that is.

  • Lavender is my favorite scent!, I have lavender lotion.

  • I'm a peach/cinnamon/vanilla/spice guy. I suspect every guy has his particular favorite scent.

As flowers go, I prefer jasmine and rose way above lavender. Pumpkin I dislike, outright.

  • i never heard of the pumpkin pie part but the smell of lavender on a sexy chick makes my member spring to attention

  • I doubt it but who knows. Guys need this?

  • LOL! Exactly 40%...eh..well they sound sexy to me...cannot vouch for the science tho...(:
