Why do people think that anything bigger than a B cup is going to sag?

Okay so I have 32D breasts and they're not saggy at all. They're not even tear drop or oval. They're very round and perky and firm completely natural. My friend is 34B and her boobs sag so much. Does size really have anything to do with saggyness because I've seen girls with very perky big boobs and girls with small saggy boobs. My mom also has small boobs but they are saggy, while my aunt is like a C cup and her boobs are still perky (my aunt has kids too and she's actually older than my mom).

  • The reason why people say that bigger breasts have a higher chance of sagging is because there is more fat in them, they tend to stick out further from the body, and gravity plays its role on taking that weight from the fat, and push it down. But, if you are lucky, you might have breasts which are naturally the type of round shape (don't know how to describe it), which are more wide than long will not sag because there is less weight at the end of the breasts (farthest from your chest). It;s easier to understand if you draw two women facing the side. Girl #1 has breasts that tend to stick out further from the body, and girl #2 has breasts which are wider, but do not stick out as far away from the body. If you put a certain weight on the edge of the breasts of girl #1, the weight will drag them down further. If you put the same weight on the edge of the breasts on girl #2, they won't be dragged further down. Understand what I mean?

  • it varies from person to person. also, saggy isn't as bad as media makes it seem. I don't care if a girls boobs are a little saggy, just not way saggy. Its natural for heavy objects to be pulled down by gravity, and its only bras that make them have that unnatural lift.

    • Maybe I have an unnatural lift because my breasts pretty much look the same with or without bra on. I know it sounds crazy but it's true!

    • well good for you, that's a rare thing for sure

  • People just aren't used to seeing natural breasts and I think that is the problem. The media only shows the perky ones on someone who is young, not ones what are real. So saggy boobs have gotten a bad rap. There are different degrees of sagging.

Whether they sag or not is really up to genetics. Some people have saggy small boobs, some people have perky large boobs.

It doesn't always happen after kids, or when you get old. Some young people have saggy boobs too. But again, as I said before, saggy boobs have a bad rap. They are not all that bad as some people make them out to be.

  • im a C cup and mine sag I like push up bras to hold them up

i think it depends on your chest muscles and also the elastin tissue in your skin, which can vary from person to person

you probably have a good rib cage muscle and a lot of protein in your body

  • I'm the same size as you, and the same shape! Some people just get the good genes!

    • You have the good genes?

    • I don't know where I get it. I have the biggest cup size in my immediate family.

  • I think that the idea people have is that since larger breasts weigh more, they'll be more visibly affected by gravity than someone who has small breasts. Thus, more apparent sagging. Really, though, it varies by person.

  • lol I agree. 36D and no sagging here

I feel like people just say it out of insecurity to be honest

  • it has to be without a bra, generally bigger ones sag more over time, and after having kids. Its a generalization, (like most hobos have a drug/drinking problem). The whole world can't be wrong this didn't come from nowhere.

  • ALL boobs can sag. I've seen some saggy A cups and I've seen some saggy D cups. I've also seen perky A and perky D. depends on the type of bra you wear and maintaining your weight.

  • it just depends on where or not you stay in shape

  • give it time

  • Bigger ones are more likely to sag yes but there are other factors at work. One key factor is pectoral muscle development (the chest muscles that the breasts sit directly on top of). The more you train these muscles the less likely they are to sag.
