My point of using examples was simply to show you I have diverse taste. I'm obviously not going to post pics of guys I know in real life, so don't take it as "she only likes rich celebs." No, that's not the case.
Taller than you or just being tall?
Every woman will find different things attractive in a man but personally:
Broad shoulders
Tall, or at least taller than me in heels
Warm deepish voice
Being in good shape (i'm not saying a 6 pack is necessary, just don't have a beer belly)
Decent skin
Has his hair
Well groomed
and personally I don't like facial or body piercings
What do you mean by "has hair"? I assume.. there's a possible opposite case as "no hair"..?
I'm attracted to a diverse variety of men! But out of the ones that I've actually dated, I can tell you the pattern: brown hair, medium build, toned shoulders, nice hands, on the shorter side (5"7 to 5"9, probably). But I've also dated thinner guys, blond guys, men of different races. The one trait that's similar across the board though, is that they tend to be a bit shorter.
Whys that? Why shorter guys?
Well according to my fiancee, I am one of the few men she dated that showered on a daily basis. So it seem like absent of odor is a big plus. Height, muscle, and a handsome face helped. Unfortunately the only thing you can really modify is your muscle.
Honest to God though, looks will only get you far when it come to shallow chicks, or girl that are only interested in short term relationship. Any girl will self-respect and looking for a long term partner would look pass your physical characteristic, unless you are under 100 lb and shorter than 5 ft. That might be a little bit on the extreme.

This is going to be shallow, but its the truth.
He has to be tall, I can deal with thin with some muscle but scrawny is a turnoff. Toothpicks just aren't sexy. Ideally he has a built body but at the same time too much muscle is just, not that attractive either. I play volleyball and have some muscle so I just try and shoot for guys who have bigger muscles than I do. Or else I'd feel manly standing next to him. Chest and shoulders have got to be wide, I love when a guy's back tapers. And the sex v and good abs can make a guy godly... Haha. But teeth are also very very very important. Teeth can ruin an otherwise very hot man. And the guy can't be hairy, I don't want to have Ron Jeremy as a boyfriend D:
I don't find that "shallow"..because I fit to that description. In my perception a woman is shallow when she wants only those guys who got a lot of money.
