Are most women self-conscious about their vaginas?

If so, I mean why. I mean with guys most guys are to some degree I mean most guys want a bigger penis and they are the ones that have to perform; that is keep an erection and be able to last for so and so time to satisfy the women. I mean a woman does not have to worry about her vagina performing or maintaining an erection or how long she has to last. Those things do not have to apply to her. So if a woman is self conscious about her vagina what exactly is her vagina that makes her self conscious about: appearance, smell, too tight, too lose, like stuff like that or completely other stuff? Just curious?

  • Well it is in deed important that females maintain their vaginas. Me have to worry about more than just stds, we have to worry about bacterias and infections that our own body create down there. Because of the climatic nature of the vagina things are not as simple as it seem, well not the same as men and we think about these things. Making sure it's fresh and inviting, it's tight enough to provide the suction to keep him coming back, how to use the muscle and walls to create a certain effect during sex. How to stay wet during intercourse and also about the big finish, how will I achieve that.

    So yes girls think about these thing s, girls who especially worry about pleasing her man.

    Smell, you never really smell yourself down there and it'd be awkward if he goes down there and it smells bad

    • After an exhaustive research effort..I have decided that I definitely prefer outies...so...if you are an Innie..,.I do not blame you for being self-conscious...after all..with hundreds of females throwing themselves at me every single day...I can afford to be entirely snooty...

    • @QA well pretty much if you inner lips are bigger than your outer lips (outie) or the other way around (innie) And ya some of us do put a mirror in between your legs but you can also see that by just looking at yourself naked. I don't know what other girls thought, but I though it looked gross. @taster what?

  • hair and smell pretty much.

  • We mostly just worry about keeping it clean, shaved, and smelling nice. Not too many other things to worry about. I think that's all a guy would worry about when it comes to a girls vagina

  • i am, I have to make sure it looks nice trimmed I prefer shaved but I don't get time much often, and also smell the smell changes throughout the cycle even showering everyday, throughout the 20 or so hrs in the day the smell can still develop since the vagina is always self cleaning releasing random lubrication and fluids or discharge

    • Taste is virtually never a problem..it is about smell and I understand...I like more smell and some guys like less...and I like pubic hair as do quite a few others..but a lot of the youngsters prefer bare..all a girl can do is try not to worry about it...and it never hurts to stay flexible..if I encountered a female with no hair..I would not lose it..unless she was lasered..but I would quickly try to convince her to grow some...(:

    • I'm in my late 20's. I shave because I don't like the way hair looks. My ex was really picky about having any type of hair on my body. I think it has kind of put hair in a neg. light for me.
