If you were a guy and you saw a girl's nipples showing through her shirt, what would you think?

So I run track and today, a random guy I rarely talked to fb-messaged me after practice. The conversation was normal, and then he randomly said, "by the way, I could see your nipples through your shirt". I was SO embarrassed!So why did he say this? is it gross that they were showing, or normal? I feel really weird and gross now :/

No it's not gross... To him he was complimenting you. Nipples get hard, and the guy see's them. Trust me Its a nice view (from a guy's perspective) its sexy and not perverted (if that makes sense) like seeing nice cleavage or a lot of leg. It leaves something to the imagination... but for him to tell you it was his way of feeling out the relationship... jokingly hinting that he's interested. If you shoot him down he can say (well it was just a joke) but if you are interested then it paid off. Guy's use this to protect themselves from rejection.

No, it's not weird or gross; it's hot.

I remember in high school watching the girls come back from their daily lap, and many of them had hard nipples that you could see through their shirts. A couple had very large nipples that stuck way out, and others had various degrees of nippage. It was very arousing and made me want to see all of those girls naked, LOL.

Guys have never been the one who has had a problem with nipples showing; it's only other WOMEN who make a big deal about it. Guys would like to see a lot more of them.

He was being a pervert and is trying to initiate sex with you most likely. If I were in your shoes, I would consider such a comment to be entirely innapropriate...however if I found him attractive I might respond positively

it was his way of letting you know he finds you sexually attractive/flirting.  he wants you to know he noticed your nipples as a way of saying he notices things about you sexually.

It's certainly NOT gross, but it can be awkward depending on the situation.  If it's a stranger, I may look discreetly but appreciatively.  If it were a close friend or relative, I'd whisper to them that they were showing off.  In fact, I've done that a couple of times to my wife when she was unaware that she was 'broadcasting'

i unsed to think it was gross but that was only because we are taught girls nipples are supposed to be "hidden" but now I love it.. as long as the girl is cute of course.

I don't think it's any big deal that they were showing. It happens. It's sometimes hot to see it. He was probably trying to be nice and tell you so you could avoid it in the future.

Quite normal to see nipples while a girl is running or exercising.  I personally don't think its a big deal. can actually be a turn on to see it. Don't sweat it! No big deal...
