To add to my prior answer: I am 5'11. I have been with two guys who are shorter, (5'7 and 5'9) and I have gone on a few dates with shorter guys and I also dated a boy the same height. To me, and to many other women, height does not matter. It does not have a role in if you like some one. You are in high school though, and a lot of girls in high school are shallow because they are worried about what others think.
My current boyfriend is 6'1. I am taller than him in heels. Depending on the heels, I may be 3 inches taller than him at times. He says, "As long as you feel beautiful, I don't care how much taller your heels make you" He takes me out and shows me off to everyone when I am in my heels. Granted he is 23 and I am 19, so we are done with caring what people think about that kind of thing.
For now, it sucks, yes, but HEIGHT DOES NOT MATTER. And if any girl says it does, she is shallow and she is looking for the wrong things in a relationship. Granted I would PREFER a guy the same height and me or taller, but that doesn't mean that I am not attracted to shorter men and I would not date shorter men.
You are a boy, you will be getting taller all the time and into your 20s, so don't worry too much about it.
Oh yeah, plenty of times. One guy that used to hang out with my group of friends was one of the shorter out of all the guys, about my height [5'7"], and I had a huge thing for him for a loooong time. I even made moves and told him how I felt. It didn't work out, he didn't feel the same and we remained friends for a while still after that until we drifted in different directions socially. But the point remains, he was shorter and I was very attracted to him, more-so than any of the other guys in our circle who were taller. It happens sometimes. My current boyfriend isn't short, but he isn't by any means the tallest guy out of all the guys we hang out with. He's pretty solidly in the middle somewhere.

I am 5'11, and yes. Sometimes the shortest man ever is the most attractive. Robert Downy Jr. for example (Iron Man and Sherlock Holmes) is a VERY short man, but I think he is very handsome.

5'9? That's short to me, hence why I also including my height. But if you want to go shorter, Zac Efron (5'8), Tom Cruise (5'7), Elijah Wood (5'6), Daniel Radcliffe (5'5) , Seth Green (5'4), Tom Hollander (5'5), Jason Priestly (5'0)
But an inch shorter than average is hardly "VERY short". IMDB says Jason Priestly is 5'8". Didn't realize Radcliffe was so short, though.

Hell yeah! I don't mind short guys! I'm only 5'2 so, I'm all for it! The one guy I liked that was short (5'7) was an a**hole though...but the other guys who were between 5'11 and 6'2 were pretty nice.
