World wide with multiple ethnicities studied, the size range is commonly simplified to 5-7inches in length being the overall world male average. The original Kinsey report found this same average range with about 5 1/2 inches being the single most common length. The only slight problem with these polls is the fact that males have several growth periods in their life not just the first noticeable one at the main puberty period. One thing that does grow by a very small amount at several points in a male's life is his penis and at a very older age it begins to shrink a very little (along with the rest of the body). These other growth spurts are very small but they would effect statistics by a slight degree. I don't think that Kinsey ever went back and re-measured any of the younger ones a few years later. Either way, it is still safe to say that the average length is about 5 1/2 inches and no more than 6 inches. Not that any of that matters as far as being able to pleasure a woman. It is not what you have but how you use it. Or more importantly, it is how you use your hands and mouth.

Yeah, you're boyfriend is a bit above average length wise. I've seen anywhere from 4-9 inches and from experience, I can say that 7.5 is pretty much the perfect length, so enjoy!

for a guy that is 17? well for all human males we usually stop growing down there and hit max size at 16yo average.

the only part that gets bigger down there are the testicles but not by much. at 41 years old now I can see that my testicles hang a bit lower than they did when I was 17 but my penis is actually the same size but more "veiny". I also "shoot" more semen when I have an orgasm than I did at 17.

So to answer your question at 17 the normal size is whatever the average size happens to be for all male adults: 6" erect and 3" around erect. any numbers larger than that is above average.

1% of males have 8 inch penis

5% have 7 inch penis

average is 51/2

5% of males have 31/2

1% have 21/2 inch penis

Anything believe 31/2 inch erect and you should see a doctor

Anything below 21/2 inch and you officially have a micropenis (its a medical term really!)

I read an article that said Indian men (that live in India) wanted condoms that were smaller than the international standard which implies that they have small penises an average of 41/2. No offense to any indian guys that read this. Also this only applies to the ones that live in India. It might have something to do with the fact that they are vegetarians and don't get the protein from meat.

that's not big, that's a bit average. I'm 11inches and 2.7inches wide or more. men at 18 should be 8inches to be affective in bed as I read in books and saw in polls from females. many males average at 5.0 so be happy he has 2inches ahead.

I think I was 5 at that age. I'm 6 and 1/2 oh every now and than at about 17 I would be almost 6inch but not often. now my max is 7 as for thickness I'm not sure. I think my girth is 6inch. lol

I'm 17 and I'm about 7.5 long and 5 inches around, but that's just me. If it's not uncomfortable for you why does it matter if he is considered big or not?

penis size doesn't go by age. its genetics. someone could b 35 and have a rly small penis but someone else could b 17 and hav a big one. so it can't rly b determined by age. but your boyfriend is above the average mark so he's doing good.

17 is mostly full grown, so it's the same as for adult men. Most fall between 5.5" and 6.5" in length, and 4.5" and 5" in girth.

8" or more, or 4" or less, is pretty unusual.
